U16 squad moves into top spot with win over Collingwood

From the Muskoka United Football Club (MUFC) Boys U16 team:

The MUFC U16 Boys team clinched another home victory last night, triumphing over Collingwood.

Wesley Janis, Nolan Czech-Dubeau, and Aiden Smith (with two) delivered stunning goals, while goalkeeper Alex Rasmussen achieved another shutout. The final score was 4-0 for Muskoka.

The team is currently leading their division.

“The commitment these boys have shown to their training and willingness to adapt and play within our system has certainly paid off with many positive results” said head coach Brendan Rasmussen. “I’m excited to see how they continue to grow against tough competition in the upcoming Caledon and Ottawa tournaments.”

The boys play their first cup game at home this Thursday, July 18th, with a 7pm kick-off at Gostick Park in Bracebridge.
