On Saturday\, March 28\, Muskoka Authors Association invites writers for an opportunity to learn from one of Canada’s masters of comic storytelling\, Terry Fallis\, two-time winner of the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour and author of ten national bestsellers\, including his latest novel\, The Marionette (2025). In this lively and insightful workshop\, Fallis will share practical techniques for bringing humour to the page\, along with thoughtful reflections on what it truly means to live the writing life. \nParticipants will enjoy two engaging sessions: The Writer’s First Responsibility\, a thought-provoking talk that challenges the myth of the tortured artist\, and Make ’em Laugh\, a hands-on workshop exploring the art and craft of writing humour.
