DESCRIPTION:The holiday spirit is in the air and the Gravenhurst Bifocals Concert\nBand will be presenting thei Home for Christmas concert on\nSaturday\, December 13 at 2:00 pm at the Gravenhurst Trinity United\nChurch. Our festive music program will include tunes from The\nNutcracker\, plus Christmas music of Gustav Holst\, Irving Berlin and\nMel Torme. We may even have a visit from one or more of those famous\nChipmunks! We will also have an audience sing-along segment\, led by\nour own Bifocals Singers!\nWe hope you’ll plan to join us for our musical celebration of the holiday\nseason on this special Saturday afternoon\nSuggested donation is $20 (children 12 and under are free). Admission is\npayable at the door (cash only).

DESCRIPTION:Our Spring Concert\, Holiday Frolic\, will be held at Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst on Sunday\, June 1st at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $20 (children 12 and under are free) and are available at the door (cash only) or by credit card online through Eventbrite by clicking on the following link: TICKETS \nThis year’s Spring Concert is a musical visit to the cottage and all of the things that Muskoka holds as fun activities and entertainment. You’ll hear Holiday Frolic\, a fun march in the tradition of summer band concerts\, the hauntingly beautiful Remembering Yesterdays by James Stephenson\, and two fun pieces about being on the water – Whitewater Festival and Ski Run. \nMemories of quiet summer evenings and times around the campfire are reflected in the delightful song by Owl City about Fireflies and the folk melodies of James Curnow’s Fiddle Tunes that include Lovely Nancy\, a beautiful fiddle ballad\, and The Haymakers\, a fun\, challenging\, rollicking dance piece.\n​\nFor those who are fans of local summer theatre events we have Broadway Spectacular\, a collection of great Broadway melodies\, and Disney at the Movies\, both arranged by John Higgins\, as well as a good old-fashioned western tune\, Chisholm Trail\, for the lovers of classic movies.\nPlease join us as we go on a fun Holiday Frolic!
