Wayback Wednesday: Aboard the Medora, 1915

The following photo was published by Muskoka Steamships & Discovery Centre.

The caption reads:

“These amazing photos were taken on board the Medora around 1915. Thanks so much to Nancy Davis for sharing these family memories!!”

The Medora was a historic steamship that operated on the Muskoka Lakes in Ontario, Canada. Built in 1893, she was initially 122 feet long and was later enlarged to become the largest ship on the lakes until the arrival of the Sagamo. The Medora was retired in 1931, unfortunately suffering a fire in 1940.
