Wayback Wednesday: Anglo-Canadian Tannery, Bracebridge

This photo was posted by Vintage Muskoka District and depicts the Anglo-Canadian Tannery, Bracebridge, circa 1906.

By the turn of the century, there were four tanneries in Bracebridge, including the large Anglo-Canadian Tannery. The Tannery was located on the Muskoka River adjacent to the current site of the Wellington Street Bridge.
