Wayback Wednesday: Bracebridge delivery truck mishap

This photo was posted by Bill Bird in Vintage Muskoka.

The photo depicts a delivery truck that has gone off the road on Manitoba Street, on the hill north of the Tayor Road intersection.

The date is unknown but one commenter notes that the “33” in the middle of the photograph might indicate to occurred in 1933. Another notes the truck depicted was typically used to make beer deliveries.

At the time, Manitoba Street was elevated above the sidewalk.
