Wayback Wednesday: Bracebridge Kinsmen Hockey Team

This photo was posted by Eric McHugh in Vintage Muskoka. The caption reads:

1952-53 Bracebridge Kinsmen were the first Bracebridge team to win an Ontario Minor Hockey Association provincial championship.

They did it in a series of 2 game total goal playoffs. They defeated Gravenhurst, Burks Falls, Stirling and finally the Orangeville Rotarians. Against Stirling, they had to play in Bobcageon due to the poor ice conditions in Stirling.
