The caption reads:
“Muskoka Herald June 11 1906 “From 20 to 36 teams of horses are drawing lumber from Germania to the South Falls switch.(Muskoka Falls) The lumber was cut in Weismiller’s mill last summer, and will take three weeks to draw. The purchaser is John H. Eyer of Toronto. Wm Lowe is superintending the haul.”
This photo of Maud Fraser’s is of logs going to the mill… you can see it is taken here at the Fraser farm, as that hill in behind is across the road from us behind the barn…but the barn would be out of this photo…”
