From the Muskoka Digital Archives:
The Cherokee began service in 1908, accommodating 400 passengers. Starting in 1931 she became known as the “Sunset Cruiser”, taking passengers from lakeside hotels to Port Carling for evening dances. Although retired in 1950 and dismantled in 1961, her wheelhouse and officer’s cabins are now on display at the Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre.
