Today’s Wayback Wednesday comes from the Muskoka Steamships & Discovery Centre:
“Muskoka Wharf looked different in the 1920’s!
The ten Navigation Company ships were spending the winter in the bay approximately where RMS Segwun and Wenonah II are docked today.
On the horizon, note the piles of lumber from the 14 saw mills in the area. The buildings on the left side were owned by the Navigation Co. and were used as workshops to maintain the ships.”
