Displacing 477 tons and standing 27 feet out of the water, the Sagamo was designed to provide a lavish experience for tourists arriving by train at the Muskoka Wharf.
It was launched in 1906 and began regular service in 1907. After a fire in 1925, it was rebuilt to be even more extravagant.
Retired in 1958, the ship was later used as a floating restaurant. In 1969, it was destroyed by a fire while being repainted.
