“Duke Boats in Port Carling was established in 1924. Of the original 12 boat builders in Muskoka, they are the only one that survives. The Twenty One Club to the right was a very popular nightclub from 1931 to the 1960s. Because Port Carling was a “dry town” patrons smuggled in alcohol for their drinking pleasure.”
