The brewery was founded in June 1996 by Gary McMullen and Kirk Evans as Muskoka Cottage Brewery.
It began in a small 8,000-square-foot facility on Taylor Road in the heart of Bracebridge.
By 2012, having outgrown its original site, the brewery relocated to its current 70,000-square-foot facility at 1964 Muskoka Beach Road.
