Work begins on 106-home subdivision in Bracebridge

A new project kicks off in Bracebridge next week with the aim of building more than 100 homes off Santa’s Village Road.

The project, named Upper Vista, is being billed by the developer as “luxury homes on the Muskoka River” and will be built on and around Gainsborough Road. The website lists the prices as starting in the $600,000’s.

The official groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 23 at Gainsborough Road in Bracebridge.

The project will consist of three stages. Stage 1 of the Upper Vista Muskoka Project includes 40 detached homes, stage two includes 54 detached homes and stage three consists of 14 semi-detached homes.

The project is being undertaken by the Evertrust Development Group, who focuses on real estate development across Canada and North America and was founded by Dr. Ted Zhou. According to the company In Ontario, Evertrust holds multiple properties totalling over 1,000 acres. At any time the company has between three and five new projects upcoming.
