Bracebridge launches “Shop the Bridge” gift card initiative

In partnership with the Downtown Bracebridge Business Improvement Area (BIA), the Town of Bracebridge is excited to introduce Shop the Bridge, a new community-wide digital gift card program that helps support the growth and development of local businesses. Just in time for the holiday season, gift givers can purchase Shop the Bridge gift cards that are redeemable at over 35 local shops, services, restaurants, and artisans, with new businesses being added regularly.

This new, innovative program is facilitated by AnyCard and helps transition a manual, paper-based gift certificate program utilized by downtown businesses to a modern, online e-gift card system that invites businesses from across Bracebridge to participate. Shop the Bridge gift cards are available as traditional plastic gift cards in select merchant locations, or environmentally-friendly digital e-gift cards that can be delivered instantly via text or email, or scheduled for a future occasion. Gift cards can also be bulk ordered in a variety of denominations up to $250.

The Shop the Bridge gift card program supports Council’s priority of fostering a modern and prosperous economy by developing policies and practices that support the growth and expansion of the business sector, including harnessing the opportunities offered by technology and good governance. The program also helps drive engagement and collaboration in the business community by encouraging program participation.

Visit the Shop the Bridge booth at the Festival of Lights on Friday, November 17 to learn more about the program and start shopping. Get a complimentary Shop the Bridge tote bag with every gift card purchase while quantities last.
