Breakers split weekend games in Collingwood

From South Muskoka Breakers Basketball:

It was a big weekend for our South Muskoka Breakers U11 rep team this weekend in Collingwood!

They fought hard with some stiff competition all around!

Game 1 was very close all the way through, but the Barrie Royals pulled ahead in the last quarter, winning 40-35. Matthew Bebenek was awarded player of the game.

Game 2 was a big win for the Breakers against Centre Wellington Celtics – 43 to 21. It was a great team effort with a shout-out going to Michael Bebenek, who demonstrated great defense the entire game.

Game 3 against the Chatham Wildcats was a real nailbiter! Both teams were matched in play until the end. Henry Young played a great game! Awesome team effort both on offense and defense resulted in a 31-29 win for the Breakers.

Game 4 was against the home team, the Collingwood Trailblazers. They came out strong from the beginning. Hudson Parsons had an amazing game at the foul line. Unfortunately, the Breakers couldn’t claw their way back and lost 46-21.

Congratulations U11’s on a great weekend!
