Candidates for Bracebridge council

The following nominees have put their names forward as of June 22, 2022 (according to bracebridgevotes.ca).

Mayor (one position):

Rick Maloney has served as counselor for McCauley Ward since 2010 and is currently a District counselor and the deputy mayor of Bracebridge.

District (three positions):

Mark Quemby is currently the councillor for the Monck/ Muskoka Ward.

Tatiana Sutherland is a first-time candidate and a local small business owner and a member of the Bracebridge Public Library Board.

Don Smith is an incumbent District councillor.

Macaulay Ward (one position)

Andrew Struthers is the incumbent councillor for Macaulay Ward.

Draper Ward (one position)

Archie Buie is the incumbent councillor for Draper Ward.

Oakley Ward (one position)

Barb McMurray is the incumbent councillor for Oakley Ward.

There are currently no nominations filed for Bracebridge Ward or Monck/Muskoka Ward.

The nomination process closes on August 19th at 2:00 p.m..

Municipal elections take place on October 24th 2020.
