Community Recognition Awards return to Bracebridge

Nominations are now being accepted for the Town of Bracebridge’s Community Recognition Awards. Council’s Community Recognition Committee is excited to be launching the program again since it was paused in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative recognizes residents for their valuable contributions to the community in two categories:

Community Service Awards

Good Citizenship;
Volunteer Service;
Volunteer Achievement;
Recognition of Merit;
Senior Achievement;
Accessibility;
Community Arts and Culture;
Community Sport Awards

Athlete of the Year;
Team of the Year;
Coach of the Year; and
Baseball Wall of Fame (player, coach/official, fan/supporter, builder/sponsor).

Nominations can be made by friends, family, colleagues etc. or by self-nomination and are due by Friday, May 3 either online or in-person to the Bracebridge Sportsplex. Nominations can also be made to multiple categories if applicable and for achievements that have taken place since 2020.
