A Bracebridge man convicted in an undercover cocaine sting is back behind bars after police found him violating his house-arrest conditions.
Kris Pfluegel, 32, of Bracebridge, pled guilty in a Bracebridge courtroom recently to breaching the conditions of his house arrest.
In June, Pfluegel had pled guilty to trafficking cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime following an undercover OPP sting targeting a downtown bar. He was sentenced to six months of house arrest, followed by a three-month curfew and 12 months of probation.
During his most recent arrest, court heard that police had observed numerous people entering and leaving his residence, raising concerns that trafficking activity may have resumed.
On September 5, 2025, officers executed a warrant and found three people inside the home—an explicit violation of his house-arrest conditions. Police also believed the group had been in the process of smoking crack cocaine.
Pfluegel was sentenced to 50 days in custody on the latest charges.
