From the District of Muskoka:
The District of Muskoka is asking residents to help shape the future of housing and homelessness services by participating in a community survey as part of its 5 Year Update to the 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan and a Homelessness System Review.
Housing affordability and availability remain key challenges in Muskoka. This review will assess current housing conditions, identify gaps, and develop solutions that align with provincial and federal strategies. It is part of the District’s broader commitment to increasing housing options, improving affordability, and strengthening services for those in need.
How to Get Involved – Community Survey Now Open!
Residents, service providers, business owners, and community organizations are encouraged to share their experiences and insights through a community survey.
The survey is open until March 31, 2025, and gathers input on housing challenges and opportunities. Complete the survey now at the following link: Housing and Homelessness Survey

Please stop debating the housing to death, we have thousands in need and start building. Who thinks 44 units will put a dent in the real number, they haven’t started building and the needs continue to grow. Time for all Muskoka to rethink who we elect to represent the needs of the people..
