Driver convicted after Bracebridge crash

A Cameron, ON, man who crashed into a ditch appeared before a judge in Bracebridge recently.

Timothy Gohm, 53, pled guilty to driving with over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.

According to police report, Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a report of a vehicle into the ditch on Ecclestone Drive near Muskoka Beach Road in Bracebridge at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022.

The single vehicle struck a road sign before veering off into the ditch. Fortunately, the driver did not sustain any injuries.

Officers conducted an investigation into the cause of the collision and Gohm ultimately blew readings of 159 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.
