Eric Forge Parker passed at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on October 20, 2023.
Eric was born to Lloyd Lorne Parker and Kathleen Edith Parker (Longhurst) on November 24, 1944, in Gravenhurst, Ont. Eric spent his life devoting himself to his parent’s legacy of Parkers’ Marina, in Windermere.
Eric will be deeply missed by his partner Denise McChesney, Son Craig Parker, and daughter Andrea Curlew (Rob). Grandchildren, Justin (Amanda), Josh (Monica), Jonny (Tay), and Jeff. In addition to his immediate family Collin Cameron (Christina), Gary Cameron (Rachel and son Isaac).
As well as dedicating his life to the marina, Eric was a volunteer for the Windermere Fire Department for 25 years. He was also a self-employed contractor building houses, cottages, docks, and whatever jobs came his way.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed to the Aspen Wildlife Centre or the Muskoka Pet Rescue. Online condolences can be made at www.reynoldsfuneral.com.
Erics’ Celebration of Life will be held on November 12th from 1 pm till 4 pm at the South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club at 10 Golf Course Rd, Bracebridge, ON.
