This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at [email protected] to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!

Board & Barrel Charcuterie Experience + Market at Hale Muskoka

Graze in style on Saturday, July 25 as Hale Muskoka hosts a Charcuterie ‘tasting and making’ experience with acclaimed Michelin Guide restaurant FAT Rabbit and Jesse Tree Fine Foods. Explore food, flavour, and the art of charcuterie as charcuterie master Chef Justin Upper, the head butcher and charcutier at Fat Rabbit, guides guests through the craft, flavour pairings, and shares samples of exceptional ingredients. Each guest receives a Hale charcuterie board and a selection of artisanal preserves, meat and cheese from Jesse Tree Fine Foods.
The day will also feature an open-air market filled with locally grown and crafted goods including ready-to-drink cocktails, cheeses, breads, meats and more, that is open to everyone.
