Failed Huntsville mayoral candidate: “I’m ready to shoot someone”

Reuben Pyette-Bouillon was more than unhappy with the election results. In fact, he took to his Facebook page on Monday, October 24 stating that he was so mad he was ready to shoot someone.

He also posted a comment on Huntsville Doppler the day after the election, stating: “All I can say it was the worst case of election fraud I have ever witnessed and been a part of. Alcock was responsable for the attacks on property owners as counsel too choose to ignore the rules and break the laws of Canada.
Shawn and I received the exact same votes yet we run separate campaigns. The numbers don’t add up and Elections Canada has been called in to investigate the irregularities. I’m distrusted and appalled by these results.”

Reuben Pyette-Bouillon got the least votes of all four mayoral candidates who ran in the 2022 municipal election. He got 131. His spouse, Shawn Bouillon-Pyette, who ran for Chaffey Ward, received an identical amount of votes at 131, also coming in last in that race.
