Appearing recently in a Bracebridge court, Kamil Siwak, 35, pled guilty to theft under $5,000.
On Aug. 20, 2023, Bracebridge OPP received a call regarding a theft from Bracebridge Home Depot.
Court heard that Siwak entered the store before collecting and concealing multiple LED light switches and smoke detectors valued at $1,974. He then left the store without paying for the items.
He was apprehended quickly and all of the items were recovered.
Siwak was sentenced to a conditional discharge and 12 months probation.
