The Muskoka Bears Jr. C Hockey Team had a record-breaking weekend — the best in the young franchise’s history.
On Friday night, the Bears traveled to Huntsville looking for payback after a tough loss in their home opener against the Otters. They delivered in impressive fashion, skating to a 4-2 victory and securing their first win of the season.
The momentum carried into Sunday afternoon, when the Bears hit the road again to face the Innisfil Spartans. Led by an outstanding 43-save performance from goaltender Joseph Degan, the Bears powered their way to a 5-2 win, completing a perfect weekend sweep.
The Bears now look to carry their winning form into their upcoming back-to-back home games:
🗓 Friday vs. Orillia
🗓 Saturday vs. Penetang
