Two of the three individuals charged with indignity to human remains will appear in Bracebridge court next week.
On Tuesday, both Lana MacDonald, 53, of Huntsville and Matthew Sturgess, 37, of Huntsville are scheduled to appear in court. They are both charged with indignity to human remains and accessory after the fact.
The third person accused in the incident, Richard Pitt, 57, is scheduled to appear in a Bracebridge court on July 27. He is charged with indignity to human remains.
On Sunday, November 21, 2021, a member of the public called the OPP to report human remains located on a property near Gryffin Lodge Road in Huntsville.
The deceased was identified as Mark Sweet, 58 years of age, from Perry Township, Ontario.
The case remains under a publication ban.
