Huntsville OPP seek assistance identifying suspect in Rental City break-in

Officers from the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a theft from the Huntsville Rental City and are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the suspect.

On August 30, 2025, at approximately 4:20 a.m., an unidentified person smashed the exterior front door window to gain entry. While inside the business, the suspect stole various electronics, gift certificates, and cash. After reviewing security footage, the suspect can be seen canvassing the area around prior to the break and enter.

There are security footage images of the suspect. The suspects appears to be caucasian, wearing a hooded multi-coloured jacket.

The OPP are asking anyone with information or video footage of the area to please contact them. The related occurrence number is E251175200.

    Bail is no problem. Seems it’s guaranteed?
    last Liberal government’s Bill C-75, which introduced what’s called a “principle of restraint” requiring judges release some people charged with a crime on bail at the “earliest reasonable opportunity” and with the “least onerous conditions.”
