Lineup announced for The Great Canadian Songbook at Muskoka Music Festival

Mark your calendars for August 23rd, 2025, as the Muskoka Music Festival proudly presents “The Great Canadian Songbook” at the historic Gravenhurst Opera House.

This year’s event will feature an impressive roster of talent, including celebrated songwriter Julian Taylor, folk artist NQ Arbuckle, songstress Jadea Kelly, and indie sensation Tragedy Ann, accompanied by a house band comprising Bret Higgins from the Great Lake Swimmers and Tali Trow, known for her work with Bonnie Dobson. Also joining them is the acclaimed poet Shannon Webb-Campbell.

Miranda Mulholland, the festival’s Artistic Director, expressed her enthusiasm for this year’s Muskoka Music Festival, highlighting its patriotic theme, packed with beloved Canadian classics and fresh favorites.

“I’m really looking forward to this year’s edition of the Muskoka Music Festival – something a little different and patriotic. Lots of classic Canadian songs, some new favourites and an incredible lineup – plus some surprises,” she said.

A unique aspect of this event is the opportunity for attendees to influence the evening’s setlist. Music lovers can request their favorite songs from Canadian legends like Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, and Leonard Cohen.

Regular tickets can be bought through the Gravenhurst Opera House Box Office. VIP tickets are available online for $125, inclusive of exclusive performances by all artists and a surprise guest during the Cottage Picnic from 1 PM to 3 PM on Saturday, August 23rd.
