Feb 24: In the second round of the Muskoka Basketball League’s playoffs the Boone Plumbing Ballers crushed the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 70-48. Family Place Restaurant and Pizza outgunned Clear Lake Brewing Company 70-58.
The Boone Plumbing Ballers will play Family Place Restaurant and Pizza for the Championship and Clear Lake Brewing Company will play the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder for 3rd place next Monday.
In the Consolation rounds the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial thrashed the Huntsville Hurricanes 79-46 and the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves beat Fike Masonry 49-45.
Feb. 11: In the first round of the playoffs from the Muskoka Basketball League, #1 Family Place Restaurant and Pizza topped #8 Huntsville Hurricanes 62-46, #2 Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder stormed by #7 Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 66-45, #3 Boone Plumbing Ballers bounced #6 Fike Masonry 46-32 and #4 Clear Lake Brewing Company smashed #5 Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 47-35. All of the top seeds advanced to the next round while the rest will play in the consolation rounds.
Feb 3: The final games of the MBL regular season have been played and we are gearing up for the playoffs, in a heavyweight battle for first place Family Place Restaurant and Pizza outgunned the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 83-73,in the other games the Huntsville Hurricanes defeated the Boone Plumbing Ballers 51-39, Fike Masonry hammered the Rosseau Lake Timberwolves 46-32 and Clear Lake Brewing Company squeaked by the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 48-46.

Jan 27: In week 13 action from the Muskoka Basketball League, Clear Lake Brewing company thumped the Huntsville Hurricanes 55-37, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza crushed the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 85-58, the Boone Plumbing Ballers beat the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 46-36 and the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder flattened Fike Masonry 56-40.
With one week left in the regular season there is plenty to play for next week. Family Place Restaurant and Pizza play the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder for the #1 overall seed going into the playoffs, Clear Lake Brewing Company will battle the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial with the winner claiming 4th place and lots of other seeding implications still on the line for the rest of the league.
Jan. 20: In week 12 action from the MBL, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza topped the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 61-58, Fike Masonry hammered the Huntsville Hurricanes 49-39, the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder outpaced Clear Lake Brewing Company 62-55 and the Boone Plumbing Ballers bounced the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 53-38.
Jan. 12: The results from week 11 of the MBL are in, the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder beat the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 52-46, Clear Lake Brewing Company Held on to beat Fike Masonry 46-43, the Boone Plumbing Ballers outgunned Family Place Restaurant and Pizza 53-46 and the Rosseau Lake Timberwolves defeated the Huntsville Hurricanes 63-57.
Dec. 8: In week 8 action from the Muskoka Basketball League the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder squeaked by the Boone Plumbing Ballers 52-50, Clear Lake Brewing Company erased the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 69-43, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza overwhelmed the Huntsville Hurricanes 74-62 and the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial edged Fike Masonry 41-38.
Dec. 2: We are officially half way through the regular season in the Muskoka Basketball League. In tonights action the Boone Plumbing Ballers outgunned the Huntsville Hurricanes 72-58, the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves defeated Fike Masonry 44-38, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial slipped by Clear Lake Brewing Company 50-46 and Family Place Restaurant and Pizza flattened the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 62-44.
Nov. 26: In week 6 action from the Muskoka Basketball League, Family Place Restaurant and Pizza topped the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 65-57, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial beat the Huntsville Hurricanes 58-50, Fike Masonry outlasted the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 53-49 for their first win and Clear Lake Brewing Company handed the Boone Plumbing Ballers their first loss 49-43.
Nov. 18: There was some great action on the courts of Muskoka tonight in the Muskoka Basketball League. Family Place Restaurant and Pizza squeaked by Clear Lake Brewing Company with a last second buzzer beater to win 65-64, Fike Masonry came up short against the Huntsville Hurricanes who won 40-37, the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder crushed the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 50-29 and the Boone Plumbing Ballers remain undefeated by bouncing the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 55-46.
Nov. 10: Four weeks in, and everything is starting to round into shape for the Muskoka Basketball League.
In Huntsville, the Boone Plumbing Ballers kept rolling by beating Family Place Restaurant and Pizza 56-50 and the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves notched their first win by holding off the Huntsville Hurricanes 70-68.
In Bracebridge, the Muskoka Medical Centre Thunder outpaced Clear Lake Brewing Company 60-41 and the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial edged Fike Masonry 54-51.
Nov. 4: In this week’s action from the Muskoka Basketball League, Clear Lake Brewing Company outgunned the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 57-34; the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder bounced the Huntsville Hurricanes 70-55; Family Place Restaurant and Pizza overpowered Fike Masonry 63-41 and the Boone Plumbing Ballers held on to defeat the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 43-33.
Oct. 28: The Muskoka Basketball League was back in action last Monday night to shake off the rust of a long off-season.
From the Gyms in Bracebridge the Boone Plumbing Ballers beat the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 61- 45 and Clear Lake Brewing Company held on to win against Fike Masonry 48-45. In Huntsville, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial squeaked by the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves 50-48 and Family place Restaurant and Pizza took out the Huntsville Hurricanes 85-55.
