A Huntsville man who “tagged” a furniture truck added to a growing criminal record in court recently.

Scott Purves, 43, pled guilty in a Bracebridge court recently to mischief, breaching probation, assault, threatening bodily harm, and possession of pepper spray and a switchblade.

On March 31, 2025 police were called to a suspicious person at the Shoppers Drug Mart in Huntsville. Officers attended and spoke with Purves, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant and found pepper spray and an illegal switchblade.
