Muskoka Music Festival returns with a stacked lineup of artists

Muskoka Music Festival Presents; Grant Lawrence, Jill Barber, and friends: an evening of stories and songs in at the Gravenhurst Opera House with special musical guests Hannah Georgas, Clerel, Jill & Matthew Barber and Miranda Mulholland.

Inspired by the late, great Stuart McLean and “The Vinyl Cafe”, join raconteur-extraordinaire Grant Lawrence for an evening to remember in Gravenhurst, as he brings his hit “Stories and Songs” touring show to the historic Opera House for the first time. The acclaimed bestselling author (“Adventures in Solitude”, “Return to Solitude”, “The Lonely End of the Rink”) and longtime national radio host from Vancouver will share his hilarious stories from his West Coast upbringing in Desolation Sound BC, often described as “The Beachcombers meets The Shining”, as well as his many years as a gimpy goalie in the beer leagues.

Joining Grant to provide songs between the stories will be a cast of all-star Canadian musicians, including the award-winning chanteuse Jill & Matthew Barber, Clerel, Hannah Georgas and Gravenhurst’s own JUNO nominated sensation Miranda Mulholland. VIP tickets include exclusive picnic lunch with private performances and an unannounced special guest, signed goodies and more. For the VIP ticket experience, please purchase them directly through www.muskokamusicfestival.com .

“We are so excited to present this one of a kind show and are very thrilled to welcome these artists to Muskoka,” says founder and Artistic Director of the Muskoka Music Festival here. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime grouping of artists and of course if you’ve come to MMF before, you never know who might turn up…”
