Muskoka’s star turn: Walkers Point cottage from Heated Rivalry set to welcome guests

One of Muskoka’s most recognizable lakefront backdrops is stepping into the spotlight.

The Walkers Point cottage featured in the season finale of Crave’s hit hockey romance Heated Rivalry will officially open for bookings on Airbnb starting March 3 at noon ET.

Located on the west shore of Lake Muskoka in the Township of Muskoka Lakes, the three-bedroom Barlochan cottage has drawn international attention since the episode aired late last year. The property’s floor-to-ceiling windows, private dock and sweeping sunset views have become instantly recognizable to fans — and now, they’ll be accessible to travellers looking to experience Muskoka firsthand.

Weekend stays will be available through May at $248.10 per night, with summer bookings opening June 1. According to Airbnb, searches for Muskoka increased by 40 per cent following the show’s surge in popularity over the winter.

Guests will have exclusive use of the property, including lake access, a fully equipped kitchen, private gym and western-facing windows overlooking the water. The home is a short drive from Gravenhurst, offering visitors easy access to shops, restaurants and local attractions.

To mark the launch, Airbnb says it will make a donation to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka, supporting children and families across the region.
