No injuries reported in Bracebridge industrial fire

 Bracebridge Fire Stations 1 and 2 responded to a large industrial structure fire on Rosewarne Drive on Thursday, December 1 at approximately 5:20 pm. Six apparatus and more than 25 firefighters were on scene to battle the blaze. A fire began in a mechanical service bay at Fowler Construction Limited and spread to adjacent vehicles and storage areas. Everyone on scene evacuated the structure safely and no injuries are reported.

Thank you to Gravenhurst Fire Department for providing mutual aid for tanker shuttle assistance with two additional tanker trucks. Muskoka Paramedic Services, the Ontario Provincial Police, Lakeland Power and Enbridge Gas were also on scene to assess the situation.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified of the incident and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
