It appears the Oliver’s location in Gravenhurst is set to close for good later this month.
Since opening in 2003, Oliver’s has operated in Gravenhurst, Port Carling, Bala, and Huntsville.
The following farewell letter was issued by the management today:
“Dear Valued Customers,
Since opening our doors in 2003, Oliver’s Coffee has been more than a café-it’s been a warm corner of Gravenhurst’s main street. It’s been a place where people connected, stories were shared, and relationships flourished. Your support and friendships have made this journey unforgettable. We’re deeply grateful for your patronage, which has made Oliver’s Coffee a local’s gathering place.
As we announce the closure of Oliver’s Coffee on October 31, 2025, we reflect on the incredible memories we’ve created together. From early morning regulars to weekend visitors, your presence has been the heartbeat of our family-run business. We’ve enjoyed celebrating your milestones, sharing in your laughter, and providing a cozy space for your conversations, all while doing our best to contribute to the vibrancy of Gravenhurst.
We set out with a hope to be a positive force in our town and are proud to have provided first- time jobs for many youth of our community, giving them a start in the working world, and to have built meaningful careers for some of our amazing staff.
We will miss serving you. Thank you for choosing Oliver’s Coffee and for your unwavering support over the past two decades. We wish you all the best and hope the spirit of our little café, and the community we’ve built together, stays with you, as it will with us.
