The Pinetree Road Bridge rehabilitation project will take place Feb. 19 to Feb. 23.
The construction area is from 75 Pinetree Road to 76 Pinetree Road.
There will be no vehicular access over the bridge between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
All efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience and disruption during the project.
What does the work involve?
Bridge rehabilitation consisting of foundation replacement, retaining wall installation, approach guide rail installation, and restorations.

All efforts have been made to limit impacts to adjacent property owners as reasonably possible.
Please park your vehicle(s) outside of the construction zone. This zone includes the bridge and within the vicinity of addresses #75 and #76 Pinetree Road. Please be aware of all construction activities, vehicles, and personnel should you be required to pass through the site.
During construction, public and emergency services vehicular access to properties across the bridge to the west (far) side will be maintained at all times with the exception of the day of the full bridge closure. Short interruptions may be encountered.
During the full bridge closure, vehicle access to driveways at addresses #74 and #75, and resident access to the west (far) side, will be restricted for one day only 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Feb. 21, 2024. If inclement weather is experienced, the full bridge closure will be re-scheduled to the following week, Wednesday Feb. 28, 2024, subject to change.
If a resident requires use of their personal vehicle during the day of the full road closure, please contact the Contractor or Tatham Engineering Limited (contact information for both provided below) a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the planned bridge closure to make arrangements for parking of your vehicle on Pinetree Road (East Side of the bridge) before 6 a.m. on the day of the closure.
Temporary pedestrian access will be available to cross the channel during the full bridge closure.
Please proceed to put household garbage out as normal, a representative of the project will collect the household garbage and dispose of it accordingly.
