David Innes has been officially nominated to run for Bonnie Crombie’s Ontario Liberal Party in Parry Sound-Muskoka.
An entrepreneur and technology specialist by trade and longtime Ontario Liberal, Innes brings 30 years of experience and volunteer work to the riding.
“The Ontario Liberal Party under Bonnie Crombie is committed to making sure we are getting the basics right and delivering more for you, like access to a family doctor, healthcare services in our community, dealing with the cost of housing, help lower the high costs of home heating fuel and restoring the Northlander,” said Innes.
Innes has strong ties to Parry Sound – Muskoka and felt compelled to bring his extensive experience working in the provincial government and with the Ontario Liberal Party to get the people here the resources and services that are desperately required. “My pledge to this community is to work to deliver more for you. In Parry Sound-Muskoka alone 19,591 people don’t have a family doctor, or you travel long distances to get care. The Ontario Liberal Party has a clear plan to get all 2.5 million Ontarians without a family doctor one within 4 years,” said Innes, adding “I’m a good listener and I am a doer – I get things done and I will get things done for the people of Parry Sound-Muskoka.”

Innes is expected to get 7-10% at best according to 338Canada and Mainstreet projections, and will only split the vote in favour of Graydon Smith and PCs. Meanwhile, Matt Richter of the Greens was a close second place and only came 5% behind PCs in 2022. Only the Greens are the strategic option to stop Ford’s party in this riding.
