A night of St. Patrick’s festivities turned sour and landed one man in front of a judge earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Jeffrey Black, 28 of Bracebridge pled guilty to mischief after damaging several items of property.
Court heard that Black and several other individuals had gone out to celebrate St. Patricks Day earlier this year. They returned to a residence where Black became involved in an altercation with another man, leading to Black being locked out of the residence.
Court heard that Black damaged the door and then proceeded to smash in the windshield of two vehicles parked outside.
Court heard that Black has a criminal record and he was given a suspended sentence and 12 months of probation. He was also ordered to pay back just under $1,000 in damages.
