This summer marks the fourth anniversary of Thong Thai Cuisine, a beloved Thai restaurant in Gravenhurst known for its bold flavors and heartfelt community spirit. To celebrate this milestone, Kim Tamwichai is launching a new venture: “Thong Thai Sauces” — a locally made line of authentic Thai sauces inspired by the restaurant’s most popular recipes.

The product line currently includes customer favorites such as Thai Peanut Sauce, Thai Sweet Chili Sauce, and Spicy Thai Chili Oil, all crafted with the same passion and quality that guests have come to know and love.
To mark the occasion, the anniversary was celebrated with a $1,111 donation from Thong Thai Sauces’ farmers market sales and a $500 restaurant gift certificate from Thong Thai Cuisine to Gravenhurst Against Poverty (G.A.P.), continuing Kim’s long-standing commitment to giving back every year.
Joining her on this journey is Max Cameron, a young entrepreneur who brings fresh energy, creativity, and exceptional talent. Born and raised in Muskoka, Max is deeply passionate about sustainability in small business and has become an integral part of the vision behind Thong Thai Sauces contributing significantly to product development, packaging design, and the company’s online presence

He also developed the websites ThaiSauces.ca and Thongthaicuisine.ca, which offer convenient online ordering options for customers.
“Max brings a fresh perspective, strong values, and genuine care to this journey,” Kim said. “This new chapter wouldn’t be happening without him and our dedicated team.”
Together, Kim and Max are building more than just a sauce company, they’re creating a brand rooted in local pride and cultural exchange to support and represent the community.
Thong Thai Sauces is now available at local farmers’ markets and select retailers, including Freskiw Farms, The Shipyards, and various locations across Muskoka and Simcoe. Customers can also shop online at ThaiSauces.ca and Thongthaicuisine.ca.
