The Gilmour Hotel was located at the corner of Sharpe Street and Muskoka Road South in Gravenhurst.
The original hotel – the Caledonian – was destroyed during a massive fire that razed much of Gravenhurst in 1887.
It was eventually rebuilt as the Empress, before becoming the Gilmour Hotel.
The building is now home to Tara’s Fashion, Footwear and Yarn.
