Moments after the gas pumps exploded.
That’s my dad, OPP Constable Alan (Buck) Rogers getting into the cruiser.”

“I worked there pumping gas…it was a gas bar and a restaurant with the first rotisserie gas fired chicken roaster in Muskoka … I worked for RBC in Toronto when this fire occurred…1969 or 1970. The fire originated in the gas shack, which had a heating oil fired heater..it didn’t start correctly and the oil kept running into the firebox.. the newspaper starter smoldered until the concentration of fumes finally ignited and blew….”
