From the Muskoka Digital Archives.

Tamarac Lodge was originally built in 1944 by Dr. Fraser M. Greig of Bracebridge. When purchased by Frank Miller, owner of Patterson-Kaye Lodge, in 1964, it became known as Tamwood Lodge.
