Bracebridge Fire
Bracebridge Fire Station 1 will be closed to the public on Monday, December 25, Tuesday, December 26 and Monday, January 1, 2024.
In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1. Residents are encouraged to download the Voyent Alert App to receive updates and notifications right to their mobile device in the event of an emergency. Users can also create multiple alerts depending on location and members of the household.

Bracebridge Library
Celebrate the holidays at the Bracebridge Library! Join in on Winter Holiday Storytime, Winter Holiday Crafternoons, or the Gift Wrapping station. Then, ring in the New Year at the children’s Countdown to Noon party and kick off the first week of 2024 with Hibernation Week programs. Learn more at bracebridgelibrary.ca/events.
While the Bracebridge Library is closed for select days over the holidays, card holders can enjoy free online resources 24/7. For access to eBooks, magazines, newspapers, online courses, reference centers, and more, visit bracebridgelibrary.ca/online-resources.
Recreation
The Bracebridge Sportsplex and Memorial Arena will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day and have modified hours during the holidays. Please refer to the chart above.
Transit
Bracebridge Transit and Bracebridge Mobility will not operate on the following days:
- Monday, December 25 – Christmas Day
- Tuesday, December 26 – Boxing Day
- Monday, January 1, 2024 – New Year’s Day
