It appears that Muskoka students will be heading back to classrooms tomorrow following an agreement by CUPE to return to work.
The union, which represents 55,000 Ontario education workers, said at a press conference this morning that they were willing to end the strike and restart negotiations with the province.
Earlier in the day Premier Doug Ford said he would repeal Bill 28 imposing a contract on CUPE workers and banning them from striking.
Minister of Education Steven Lecce subsequently confirmed that bill 28 will be repealed in its entirety.
