This calendar is reserved for non-commercial local community events. What does that mean? Your event must be free or of nominal cost, available to anyone (although adult-only events are fine), and not for profit. (We do make exceptions for artists showing their work who would profit from any sales made and musicians hosting small-scale concerts). Not sure if your event fits? Drop us a line at [email protected] to check, or go ahead and submit anyhow – submissions are moderated and we will approve yours if it fits our criteria. Thanks for helping make Muskoka a vibrant community!

CFUW Muskoka chapter’s FEED THE MIND

For the Month of June, FEED the MIND is a way for the community to support local women in our community in their pursuit of post secondary education. FEED the MIND is an initiative of the CFUW Muskoka Chapter to support their Bursary Fund.
CFUW Muskoka Feed the Mind is a fundraiser in which three restaurants, one in each of Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and Huntsville, will donate a portion of the proceeds from sale of a specific menu item during the month of June to CFUW Muskoka Charitable Trust Bursary Fund.
The restaurants are Barrel House in Bracebridge, Frosty Pint Pub in Gravenhurst and Westside Fish & Chips in Huntsville. South Muskoka Curling & Golf Club is making a contribution from Ladies Night during June.
The event is sponsored by Stephen’s Butcher Shop, Port Carling.
