Pizza delivery person robbed and assaulted in Gravenhurst

On June 29, 2022 at 11:00 p.m. Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to 9-1-1 calls reporting a robbery at 165 Old Muskoka Road in Gravenhurst where a delivery car was stolen.

The victim arrived at the above address, an apartment building, to deliver a pizza when two unknown suspects presented an edged weapon, assaulted him and stole his vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries and was able to run to a nearby residence and call for help.

The vehicle is a black 2009 Mazda four door car bearing Ontario Marker CWPB246 and had a Dominos Pizza sign attached to the top last seen travelling toward Bethune Drive, Gravenhurst. Both suspects were wearing dark hoodies.

Police are asking anyone who may have surveillance footage from their residences or other information to please call Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You may also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or you can submit your information online at www.crimestopperssdm.com. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and you will remain anonymous. Being anonymous, you will not testify in court and your information may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.

    Theres a reason Gravenhurst is at the base of the Muskoka map, it is basically the wild west with electricity.
