Community members can now cast their votes to recognize outstanding local businesses as the public voting period opens for the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce 2026 Business Awards Gala.
Now in its 31st year, the annual Gala celebrates the local businesses and organizations that contribute to the strength and vitality of Bracebridge. This year’s theme, “A Night to Shine,” highlights an evening dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the success of local business owners and organization leaders who make a lasting impact in our community.
More than 100 local businesses and organizations were nominated across multiple award categories this year. Winners will be determined entirely by public vote, giving residents, customers, and supporters the opportunity to recognize the businesses they believe deserve the spotlight.
Voting is open from March 12 to April 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM and will take place online. Members of the public can review the nominees and submit their vote by visiting: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/bccgala
“Each year, the Bracebridge Chamber’s Business Awards Gala gives our community a chance to pause and recognize the people and organizations that help make Bracebridge, and Muskoka as a whole, thrive,” said Marc Baudendistel, President of the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce. “Our local businesses bring creativity, resilience, and leadership to our region, and their contributions deserve to be celebrated. Public voting is an important part of that celebration, giving our community the opportunity to show their support for the businesses that make a difference every day.”
Award winners will be announced during the Gala on April 30, 2026 at 5:30 PM, held at
the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre in the Muskoka Leon’s Auditorium. The event will include dinner, live music, additional entertainment, and an awards ceremony recognizing the nominees and winners.
