Serious assault in Gravenhurst leads to multiple charges

Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three individuals in relation to a serious assault in Gravenhurst.

On February 1, 2024, Bracebridge OPP officers began an investigation into a serious assault that took place at a busy residence on First Street South in Gravenhurst. The victim was able to get out of the residence and was taken to hospital where he received care for significant injuries to his face. Police have charged three individuals: 30-year-old Travis SHELTON, 33-year-old Joshua HUMMEL and 44-year-old Raymond SHAW, all of Gravenhurst, each with Assault Causing Bodily Harm CC 267(b). Each accused has an appearance upcoming in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge to answer to their charges.

    When will the OPP be allowed to do the job they are trained for??? Gravenhurst is getting more dangerous by the day. If you break the law, in jail you belong. NO BAIL NO HOUSE ARREST JUST JAIL TIME LEARNING A TRADE.
