The Muskoka Turtle Blitz is back after a two-year pandemic break.
This event is hosted by the Saving Turtles at Risk Today (START) Project, Georgian Bay C.A.R.E.S and Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery. This will be the first Turtle Blitz hosted since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event is an all-ages opportunity to be a scientist for a day and experience working hands-on with reptiles and amphibians native to Ontario. The day consists of three teams (beginner, advanced and intermediate) being led by experts through Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh.
The event runs from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on July 30th, 2022.
