The Bracebridge community has lost not one but two of its most significant business pillars of the past half century.
The passing of Paul Hammond earlier this week was followed shortly thereafter by the passing of Mike Warr, the founder of the local landmark Old Station restaurant on Manitoba Street overlooking downtown Bracebridge.
Warr was well known for his warmth, humour and personality and he will be deeply missed by the countless friends, former workers and family whose lives he touched.
